Daniel Cardinal DiNardo announced the creation of the newest parish in Fulshear and Surrounding Areas in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston in July 2014.
Father Dat Hoang was appointed the founding administrator.
Town Hall Meetings
Town hall meetings were held the beginning of July gave faithful in the community an opportunity to meet Father Dat as well as propose names for the new parish. Over 600 people attended the meetings held at St. Bartholomew the Apostle and Epiphany of the Lord campuses in Katy.
Saint Faustina Catholic Church - A Name Has Been Chosen!
Shortly after the names were submitted, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo announced the name of the newest parish in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston as St. Faustina Kowalska Catholic Parish.
“When Cardinal DiNardo called me, I was so excited. I wanted to dance! It is an incredible joy that comes from the Lord. Let us allow the Lord to work through us to build this new Catholic parish,” said Father Dat Hoang.

First Mass
Initial Masses began August 16 & 17, 2014, at Joe Hubenak Elementary School, 11344 Rancho Bello Pkwy, Richmond, TX 77406, in the Lakes of Bella Terra subdivision.
Beginning August 16 & 17, 2014, Saturday Mass is held at 5 p.m., and Sunday Mass is held at 10 a.m.
An additional Mass at 8 a.m. was added on August 31, 2014.
Father Dat was installed as Founding Pastor at 10 a.m. Mass on August 31, 2014.

Daniel Cardinal DiNardo celebrated Mass at St. Faustina at 10 a.m. Mass on September 14, 2014.
Parish Picnic
In celebration of the Feast of St. Faustina, the Family Faith Formation Ministry sponsored a Parish Picnic on October 4, 2014.
First Baptism
Our first baptism took place on October 11, 2014.
The first Children's Liturgy took place on October 12, 2014.
St. Faustina Parish Office was relocated to 24435 Peroni Dr., Richmond, 77406.
Parish Finance Council
Father Dat introduced the Parish Finance Council on October 18 & 19, 2014.

All Saints Day
Father Dat was joined in procession with all the little saints of the parish on Nov. 1, 2014
Youth Group
The first meeting of the high school youth group took place on Nov. 15 for Pizza, Games, and Fun!
Beginning Nov. 30, 2014 - Sunday Mass will change to 9 a.m. & 11 a.m.
During Advent 2014 - Daily Mass was held Tuesday & Thursday at 6 p.m. and Wednesday & Friday at 8:30 a.m. Daily Mass is no longer held at this time.
The Parish Office was relocated to 1819 First Oaks Street, Suite 12, Richmond, TX 77406, on April 10, 2015.
