Covecrest 2023 - Week 2

Camp Covecrest is a Catholic Summer Camp sponsored by Life Teen, Int. Camp. Sending your child to a weeklong summer camp experience offers a unique environment of encounter for your child. 

The Life Teen Summer Camps staff plans, prepares, and facilitates the programming, liturgies and activities for each day. Each day you’ll experience daily Mass, opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and other powerful prayer experiences. Our evening sessions, led by a dynamic speaker, will break open scriptural topics to lead your teens into a more authentic encounter with Christ. All of this alongside our exciting ropes courses, an obstacle course, messy games, plenty of free time and much more. Each day campers will enjoy three delicious meals and a night-time snack with their parish. 

Camp Hidden Lake is a Catholic Summer Camp owned by Life Teen, Int. Hidden Lake was bought in Fall 2014 in order to continue to provide for a growing need in summer camps as well as a uniquely and passionately Catholic Retreat center for the greater Atlanta and North Georgia area.

Throughout the year, Camp Hidden Lake functions as a year-round retreat center for local parishes. During the Summer, Camp Hidden Lake serves over 2000 campers from various diocese alongside a community of young adult missionaries and staff.

WHAT IS SUMMER CAMP?

• Camp Covecrest is a Catholic Summer Camp sponsored by Life Teen, Int. Camp is a weeklong summer camp experience full of fun, high adventure, prayer, reflection, and more!

WHERE WILL CAMP BE?

• Life Teen Camp takes place at Life Teen Camp Covecrest in Tiger, GA. Camp is about 13 hours away from Houston.

WHEN IS YOUR TRIP?

• June 5^th-June 10^th, 2023
• We plan to arrive at Camp by 1:30 pm on Monday and depart from Camp on Saturday by 1:30 pm. This means our departure time will be at 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 11th. We will return around 3:00 AM on Sunday, June 18th.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

• The cost of camp will approximately be $1000. This includes transportation, as well as all lodging, meals, programming, etc. at camp.
• We will have a payment plan setup until the month of Camp.
• We can say with full confidence that it is 100% possible to fundraise your entire trip! We plan on fundraising most of the cost in order to help everyone get to camp!

WHO CAN ATTEND?

• Life Teen Camp is open to all outgoing 9th-12th graders.
  • This means, if your child will complete their 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade year in Spring 2022, they will be eligible to register.
