Confirmation Preparation Information

Thursday, July 31 (Evening)
Saturday, August 2 (Morning & Afternoon)

Confirmation Requirements:
Pre-Confirmation (Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors)
To be considered as a Pre-Confirmation student, the student must:- Be in High School
- Be Enrolled in Faith Formation classes at this parish or attending a Catholic High School
The requirements to complete the Pre-Confirmation Year are- Successful completion of Faith Formation classes or Catholic High School Religion classes
- Attendance at a retreat that satisfies the Pre-Confirmation retreat requirement*
- Regular attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation
Confirmation Preparation Year (Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors)
To enroll, the student must- Have completed all requirements from the previous year:
- All teens, INCLUDING CATHOLIC SCHOOL TEENS, Must be enrolled in Faith Formation classes or attending AND must register for Confirmation Preparation
- Must turn in a newly issued Baptismal Certificate before the first day of class
If you did not attend St. Faustina for Pre-Confirmation we will need:- A letter sent to our parish, before classes begin, from your previous parish saying that you successfully completed their Faith Formation classes for the year.
The requirements to complete the Confirmation Preparation Program are- Successful completion of Faith Formation classes or a Catholic High School religion class
- Regular attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation**
In addition to the above requirements, Confirmation Preparation has the following requirements which must be completed for the student to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.- Attendance at year-long Confirmation Sessions
- A Sponsor Form
- A Saint Report
- Two Service Projects
- A Confirmation II Retreat
- An Entrance and Exit Interview
Teens who are ready to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2025:
- Are in 10th grade, 11th grade or 12th grade
- Have successfully completed a full year of Faith Formation the year immediately preceding this year. ***
- Are enrolled in High School Faith Formation. (You can read more about this on our High School Faith Formation page).
***If your teen spent the year in Catholic school, the first year of Faith Formation is waived for them.
