St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA received extensive damage from Hurricane Laura. Their family center was heavily damaged, the rectory is unlivable and several classrooms in the school were damaged. Also, some of their parishioners need help clearing the debris from their yards and piling it by the street. We have decided to adopt St. Margaret's and accompany them in their rebuilding and relief efforts.
To help them recover from this devastating storm we are taking up a collection to reconstruct the buildings lost, secure heavy equipment needed to remove debris and to help them pay the insurance deductible needed. All donations received will be sent directly to the Pastor, Fr. Nathan Long for the parish to use.
