"As a former attendee of your ministry, I’m happy to report that I have been on my job for six months now and all is going well. I am currently not in need of your support.
I wanted to reiterate my sincere thanks and appreciation for all you do. Your ministry and your commitment to it are invaluable for the numerous job seekers you support.
Your classroom tips on everything from putting together a resume, preparing an elevator speech and updating LinkedIn paired with your practice introductions and interviewing are extremely helpful for jobseekers honing their skills.
In addition to all the practical experience that is given, is the constant positive reinforcement and willingness to help out in many ways including networking introductions if needed.
I’m forever grateful to have had the opportunity to interact with St Faustina’s Job Search Ministry and thank you for all your support." -M.A.
"I’ll like to communicate to all the members of this wonderful ministry that I got a new job as a Faculty member at the College Health Affairs at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. As a Clinical Professor for the future Physician Assistance, ranked nationally number 1, I’m responsible for teaching Anatomy, Pathophysiology and Patient Encounter.I just finished my advanced English level and I pretend to continue studying English to finish the second advanced level at the university language center.I am so grateful with God and all of those who helped me.One day I had a dream, I was not so clear of the pathway, I practice, persevered and all the time I have been resilient. Hope my testimony helps others believe in themselves. God Bless all of you!" -N.C.
"Thank you so much for your excellent help. Job shopping can be a lonely frustrating experience. From updating a resume to choosing the sort of job to target. I did get a full time job at a Walmart in the area. A bit of a drive but good to have a job with pto, vacation time , store discount etc.
At 74 years old I was not confident I could beat out other applicants. But I did. Thank you." -B.M.
"This is to respond to recent questions on how former attendees have been doing and if further support is needed.I am happy to report that by the grace of God I'm still employed (almost 2 years!). However, as I have learned, all things are temporary and I am happy to be still connected to the ministry via WhatsApp.If this email address is not the best one for me to pass on to job seekers, please advise the current one. I learn of various people that are looking, especially since pandemic started, thus have encouraged them to contact you and passed on some of your messages. I firmly believe that this ministry was God's way to help me to get my current role and may play that role for some other people I know, if they let it happen and it's in His plan.Thank you again for all you do and keep it up. May the Lord bless all of you." -A.K.
"I'd like to thank you for the support you are providing to me through JSM. The presentation about how to write a resume was impressive, it gave me important tools that I didn’t know before.
Additionally, the information received in the chat has been helping me to be aware of job fairs or new opportunities in the market.
Me and my husband are still looking for a job. Your support helps us to feel we are not alone, giving us encouragement to keep continue in our journey." -L.B.
