Prayer Blanket Ministry

You are covered in prayer!The Prayer Blanket Ministry touches the lives of those who receive the blankets and those who construct and distribute them. The Prayer Blanket Ministry sews lap-size blankets and squares for those in need of physical or emotional healing.
Prayers are offered as the blankets are made in hope that the recipient will experience God's mercy, peace, strength, and healing power. The blankets are blessed prior to distribution. Blankets are distributed at designated Masses, or you may get one from the Parish Office.

We are in need of donations of 100% cotton fabric or fleece with a minimum of one yard. Monetary donations are also welcomed!

Join us in this beautiful ministry to bring comfort to the sick while sharing in fellowship and fun! No sewing experience is required!
We meet monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month at

The devotion to Mary, Undoer of Knots, has become more popular ever since Pope Francis encouraged the devotion in Argentina and spoke about it during his first year as pontiff.

Healing Prayer
Lord, I come before you today in need of your healing hand. In you, all things are possible.
Hold my heart within yours, and renew my mind, body, and soul. I am lost, but I seek you.
You gave us life, and you also give us the gift of infinite joy.
Give me the strength to move forward on the path you've laid out for me.
Guide me towards better health, and give me the wisdom to identify those you've placed
around me to help me get better.
In your name, I pray, Amen.

January 15-16: Prayer Blankets Distribution
PBM donates to the Santa Maria Hostel
The Prayer Blanket Ministry donated 60 blankets to the ladies at the Santa Maria Hostel as part of their outreach program. The blankets were placed in baskets along with toiletries and small gifts.

Testimonies of Healing
In December 2017, my husband was diagnosed with a cyst inside his cervical spine. The pain was debilitating; it radiated from the neck to the shoulder and down to his arm. He had a severe allergic reaction to the RX prescribed to calm the nerves causing the pain. He requested a prayer blanket from St. Faustina. He slept with it and after a few days said the pain was much better and then finally, the pain was gone!
We went to the surgeon to schedule a surgery. When asked about his pain level, my husband said it was gone. We asked if he would still need surgery. The doctor said no symptoms, no surgery. We asked what could have happened. He said it could have shrunk or disappeared altogether or my husband got accustomed to the pain. But, we know better.
We praise the Lord for His gracious healing mercy!!!!
