Rosary Makers strive to bring people closer to Jesus by meditating on the mysteries of his life and obtain peace and merciful blessings through praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. Our mission is to provide rosaries to our parish, individuals, and charitable organizations locally and around the world.
As advocates of the Rosary, we are faithfully extending the word of Our Blessed Mother by using our hands to make rosaries. The rosaries that we make are blessed by our loving hearts as each bead passes through our praying hands. Prayers are offered in hope that each bead be filled with love and patience as the recipient prays and reaches out to God.
We make mission rosaries (cord with plastic beads) in various colors, and Divine Mercy rosaries, which are half white/clear and half red plastic beads - like the rays of Jesus’ Divine Mercy.
How to get a rosary?
Our rosaries are free to all. The rosaries are blessed at St. Faustina Catholic Church prior to distribution. Rosaries are available with the English or Spanish “How to Pray the Rosary” cards. The Divine Mercy rosaries have the Divine Mercy card in English or Spanish.
Individual rosaries are available at the Hospitality desk. Divine Mercy rosaries and regular mission rosaries are distributed after designated masses or may be obtained by contacting Rosary Makers. Advance notice is required for quantities over 25.
When do we meet?
Rosary Makers meet twice per month unless there is a conflict. You may attend either or both meetings. All of our meetings will be in the Ark Room in the Parish Life Center.
Meetings for 2023: 1st Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. 3rd Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
How can I get Involved?
Everyone (men, women and teens) is welcome to participate. You don’t have to make rosaries to be part of this ministry. Help is needed to make the bead kits and to distribute the completed rosaries to various organizations.
We provide the supplies needed (bead kits) to our Rosary Makers as well as provide hands-on instruction in how to make the cord rosaries. At the meetings the Makers bring in their completed rosaries to be bagged with the prayer cards and to be blessed and prepped for distribution.
